KNowledge management and knowledge organisation in projects
There are many ways that knowledge management and knowledge organisation are practiced and applied within various industries and companies. Both are acknowledged as core elements of project management, with an emphasis on information flows for coordination and communication, proper documentation and the lesson learning cycle. However, many projects involve both internal and external parties, and this poses challenges for a consistent approach to knowledge management and knowledge organisation across the project. With nearly two decades of exposure and experience gained from various industries, Cheryl will share what she believes is the 'true' value of KM and how she has been applying it, especially in the context of her current project, which is the renovation of a 90 year old conservation shophouse in Singapore.
